Well, folks, I'm, home, safe in the bosom and all that and only a little battered around the edges after a long drive from Troyes today. (Had a silly conversation with MWNN where we speculated that it was the Troy where Helen was of; only MWNN said she who built the ship until I reminded him that Helen of Troy had launched 1000 ships and had not, in fact, built any.)

Orf to the arms of morpheus now . . . ttfn

Many thanks for the welcome . . and I missed you guys too. I'm just catching up on the latest ff board and I'm not happy with the news - ghost Spike? He can't be locked in a room with Angel to wrestle it out then can he? Oh I do hope it's a temporary condition and they find a way to resurrect him (I'm clinging to that word 'cos Joss used it about him when he said he had to kill Spike off in Season 7 BtVS.)

No but he does manage to kick Angel's ass. I hate the concept of Ghost Spike, but Spike is back and he is snarky and sane. I just get the impression that Spike won't stay a ghost forever.

Hope you're right. Don't like the thought of a non-corporeal Spike, though I'm keen to find out why he is bound to Angel in Limbo. Now I am orf to bed to catch up on the sleep I couldn't get in all that heat in France (think about a month should do it!)

So glad you are back home safely - we were pleased to get home too - especially glad to see the shower - wonderful instant hot hot water - what joy - it's always the little things that you miss the most. Been back just over 2 weeks and I still have not had time to read all your journal entries - work has been extremely busy and the beach house has required a lot of maintenance - grass knee high, garden overgrown and pergola blown down in a storm - so much to catch up with. Only just recovering our usual sleep patterns after such a long time away and the usual ghastly long haul flight back. I hope to email you a long letter next week. Love to you and MWNN. J.
