I think you might have to have a run off vote for this one - though at least you've eliminated two of the choices if the voting stays the same.

I like Lady Lavender Knitalot (you've got the lavender, the knitting and the colour) and it flows nicely off the tongue. My second choice would be Countess Champagne de chocolat but that's a bit of a mouthful to say.

>>but that's a bit of a mouthful to say.

Surely that's the point.

Precisely.

Champagne and chocolate is a rather nice mouthful ;)

Of all the names in the poll, this is the one I don't want. Knitting is not something I want to define me - even though I do a lot of it :D

A Boater is a hat, which makes it fitting for the society but I'm torn between Dame Ruby Boater (yes, I know, I changed what's on the list) and Countess Champagne de Chocolat.

I voted and was amazed that the majority voted as I did. You may not like the name but its prefect for you. Do you know that my shawl (that I love) is the high of fashion for this autumn and winter, I have just read an article in the Suedeutscher Zeitung Magazine and they report long shawls with fringes are a "must" for this autumn and winter.

We leave on Sunday for Canada and Reinhard has a cold, hopefully by Sunday he will be better. Love N

You may not like the name but its perfect for you.
Red Hat Soc ladies are not about being perfect - quite the opposite, they're good-time gals. Eileen has been an unknowing member for decades.

Enjoy your trip and make sure R gets lots of rest before you head off.
