Water flowing underground
same as it ever was
Makes sense to me

I quite agree. But I'd like to avoid the pillow though.

I'd like to avoid the pillow though.
I doubt you'd know anything about it.

How's Midimeet planning coming along? I have raffle stuff and bubbly drinks (including your favourite tipple) all sorted.

I have bought all the stuff (hope it's enough), I just have to do the artwork. I got the right size bags this year!

I'm on the cusp of trouble though. If we get one more sign up, the costs will rocket as I'll have to get more things.

Anyone signing up now will have to pay full whack at the hotel, so unless someone local joins, you should be OK.

Makes sense to me too. I hope Sir Terry gets his wish.

I hope it doesn't come to that, but then he's more of a realist than I'll ever be.

Discworld should feature at Midimeet, don'tcha think?

It definitely should, though sadly I shan't be there to discuss it with everyone.

It always seems odd to me that people campaign for the 'right to life' and the 'right to choose' which the powers that be don't seem to have a huge problem with (in that abortion is legal in this country). But the 'right to die' is still so controversial. If it's someone's choice, I think we need to respect and facilitate that.

Total sense. But then Sir Terry usually does. Dave's mum doesn't know who he is. Hell, I doubt if she knows who she is. I don't want that for him or me. I don't want it for her, for that matter.

In his case I fully understand death will be a gift. If wet, in the library. With the Librarian and a brandy.
