cruising log
caliente_uk and suewordld2003 go out to dinner at an Italian Restaurant in London and what do they get - 2 hours of James' undivided attention. I go out to dinner at a French Restaurant in St Quentin and what do I get - sodding food poisoning, that's what.

Back in Blighty for some R&R. Will try to catch up with the rest of the Flist and post some more cruising log with photos later this week.

*hoots*

Oh I shouldn't laugh I know, but food poisoning?! Oh god I've had that many times, and I know how horrible it can be.

So sorry to hear this love. Really.

I thought it was seriously unfair, seeing as I was missing all the James' action in the UK at the time. The only consolation was that MWNN couldn't accuse me of 'faking it' to get home to join in the fun.

Ouch!

Hope you feel better soon, hun. *hugs*

Welcome back! Thanks for the postcard - arrived today!! Hope you feel better soon.

the postcard took forever to arrive. MWNN posted a birthday card to the neighbour's daughter the night before we left Calais and it arrived the same day as your card.

That'll teach you for indulging in all that rich foreign food!

(hope you're feeling better soon)

Yep, can't trust French food, they don't boil their vegetables properly.

(And the good wishes are seconded.)

I don't think the French approve of vegetables - they destroy them rather than cook them.

Thanks.

It's one thing to be off having fun and missing stuff and quite another to be ill!

Simply not fair!

miserable
I've been reading your reports, but not commenting, sorry
27th-May-2007 04:56 pm (UTC)
I'm itching to get back already.

I don't expect comments on the cruising log, unless something really strikes a chord with someone.

Well, that just . . . sucks.

*places both hands palm up in front of self*
*looks at left hand* Dinner with James.
*looks at right hand* Food poisoning. Hmm.

Yep. You got screwed.

*hugs*

Yep. You got screwed.
I thought so...

seeing as I missed all the James' action in the UK at the time. The only consolation was that MWNN couldn't accuse me of 'faking it' to get home to join in the fun as it was all over by then.

Yep, you definitely got the bad deal there. Hope you feel better soon.
27th-May-2007 04:59 pm (UTC)
I thought so too. The boy definitely waits until I'm off UK soil before he comes over.

Better now!
