As I suspected

the problems with the dial up service is that no one give's a rat's arse about it. The phone engineer could find nothing wrong with the line, yesterday. I told him I'd phoned the service status line throughout the period we couldn't get on line but there was no mention of a problem. No one watches the dial up servers was his response. Why do I not like the idea that I should upgrade to broadband in order to get decent customer service? Could it be anything to do with the fact that we're already paying £14 a month for dial up and expect to recieve the service for which wer are forking out said sum?

On a cherrier note - ::waves:: to deannab - welcome to the wacky world of LJ.

I was going to post an update of Sunday's Panto, but both bogwitch and gamiila (two i s not l s) have already done that. Suffice to say, Sir Ian McLellan as the Dame - in a white Abba catsuit. The man has presence, considerable presence - anyone who can bring authority to the role of the Panto Dame has a certain stage magic all his own.

And, finally, anyone know where I can get hold of a new mouse mat to replace my dead one? Preferably a Spike mouse mat.
