knitting sketch

Tell folks you're bored and this is what happens.

So much in my in-box this morning, I didn't know where to start. Took the easiest option and did this questionnaire thing. Thanks to bogwitch for furnishing the questions.

1. Of all the places you visited in your life, which would be your favourite and why? Was there anywhere particular you could see yourself living?

This just has to be Paris. Why? It's a city, so unlike London it's unreal. There's all that history lurking in those buildings the French protected by doing a deal with the demon that was the Nazis in WW2. But more than that. It's so charming. Even the suburbs hold an appeal for me. Perhaps it's the French, not the city?

Where could I see myself living? I used to dream of a little place in the French countryside, away from the tourists. But 4 years of cruising the French waterways have cured me of that. I couldn't stand the bureaucracy. Not just paper bureaucracy, but all that blindly following the rules. Why not cross the road when the light is on red, if there's no traffic coming? Why can't I exit through that checkout? Why do I have to go all the way back to the store entrance to exit through the no purchases exit? I'd kill somebody one day.

2. Tell me one unusual thing about yourself.
Don't know what counts as unusual. Broke my arm at the elbow as a child and it went undiagnosed until it was too late to set. I can turn the arm 'inside out' as it were, as a result.

3. What is your favourite crisp flavour?
Salt and vinegar. I'm a sharp one, or so I've been told.

4. What was your biggest fashion mistake?
Eghem - misread this one initially. Fashion? what's that?

5. What is your most treasured possession?
I'm not a material girl and, until this Christmas, I would have said I didn't have one, unless you count my gold claddagh engagement ring. But then came the I-Pod. I'm smitten!

1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.
