Perhaps it's the weather?

Or my diet?

Or . . .

I've done everything - upped the asthma meds, made soup, taken hot baths with breathe clear oil added, had the diffuser going most of the time. Short of blitzing it with antibiotics - which, let's face it, wouldn't work because - no infection, just lots of wheezing, I'm stumped.

Maybe more rest is needed?

And tea - lots and lots of tea.

ETA Two things whch have cheered me up no end.

jennylyle, your parcel arrived this morning. Not going to open it until Christmas. I love surprises.

Received thank yous from The Imperial War Museum and Institute of Education, University of London for the copies of Against The Odds which have been deposited in their libraries. Nice to know that students of both history and education will have access to the book.

Does anyone know how to save a streaming sound file to disk? The interview for Woman's Hour is still up and I'd like a copy.

Nope, I think it's this absolute swine of a virus. It's killing me too:(

But at least the telly signal held out and gave me the ASH programme, so sorry for any trouble on that one.

No trouble. I decided to tape it anyway and it's a good thing I did bogwitch forgot it was on so I am sending the tape to her. Did you catch the glimpse of mini Spike on the Vampyre prof's shelves?

You know, I think I caught this virus at the Halloween Con. Mine started at the end of the week following, ehich is about the right time for incubation. Thank God I had the flu jab before I went, otherwise I think I might have been hospitalised with this one. and 'orribpspatible is no place to be when you're sick.

I did see the guest appeareance by everyone's favourite vamp, and it cheered me up wonderfully:)

I'm glad the taping worked out to help .

I know I got mine from my godmother at the weekend since she said it was a hell of flu-like cold and it's certainly proving to be -especially as both of us were flu jabbed too. Silly virus, I ache all over.

Phew - so glad parcel has arrived safely - not having sent anything by sea mail before, I was a little concerned whether it would turn up or not - gifts are for your birthdays AND xmas, so you could take a little peek now. Good news about your book - now that is exciting. J.
