No one knows what it's like

Didn't make it to the pool this morning. My lungs were wheezing like a rusty old - rusty thing. Nor did I do the dog walking with MWNN. It's far too damp and miserable to take the rusting lungs out - they'll corrode at this rate.

But enough with the whining. My ailments are as nothing compared to sueworld2003 who's off to the orriblspital this pm to have revoltingly painful tests done to her nether bits. Fingers crossed that what is revealed is correctable and that the pain will be over very soon.

I got very wet on the way home. :(

At least sueworld2003 is getting seen to.

That sounds a little too close to going to the vet for the nasty solution for comfort.

I thought you drove to work?

I do, but I had to get to the car.

Thanks for the lovely shout out luv!

Well it bloody well hurt as I knew it would, (more then the one I had five years ago) but there was good news and bad news. The good being I haven't got Cancer. Yaaaay! But my bladder looked absolutely normal. No scars or inflamation. Which is weird considering I'm in constant pain. But a lot of folks with I.C. have bladders that look normal, but still cause them agonising pain. So it really looks more and more likely that I have I.C. But Which means the medical profession has gone back to thinking I'm balmy and making it all up! So now I'm going to have to go through a whole new set of tests to prove them otherwise. At this rate it'll be years till somethings sorted out for me. My bloody hair is still falling out at a rate of knots, and my doctor suspects that I may have 'male pattern baldness' for god's sake! Which may point to a hormone unbalance....great.

On another note, I see CDS is getting a load of new people coming

Good news - no nasties lurking down there necessitating surgery of any kind. Don't let them get their scalpels out girls, it's the beginning of the end.

Bad News - What's IC?

More Good News</i> - I see that the September pic. of the BAPS Calendar features both puppets and a Spangle moment.

More Bad News - BAPS have given only one week for ordering and there may be problems for people outside the US.

Well I'm afraid I can't rule out surgery in the future, because people with I.C. (Interstitial Cystitis, which means all the pain of full thrown bacterial cystitis, but without any bacteria being present. They don't know what causes it, and treatments are dodgy at best) have been known to have their bladder removed due to the unrelenting pain they are in.

Yeah, if it's the same photo, then I supplied that for them, but what Spangel moment have they used? Something from 'Girl in Question'?

It's a puppet Spangle moment. Probably one of yours. It's quote clean - just a big hug. Go look on BAPS, they've put up links to all the pics.

....coming (oo-err) onto the board. I meant to say!

....coming (oo-err)

Seems they're refugees from other boards.

Are you making them pitch tents? Should I send in the Red Cross?

It's been a long time.

How are you doing? Or more to the point, how are your lungs doing?

Thanks for asking. I think I'll have to post less often in my LJ, people get concerned when I don't make an entry.

I had a long standing appointment in London on Thursday that I couldn't/wouldn't break so I was on those damn Tubes again. And then the British Legion dropped all those poppies on the Thames from two WWII planes at 6pm, so, of course I just had to be on a bridge watching. I got another chill, so, still wheezing and rusty is the state of the lungs. Think I need to trade them in for a new set.
