Did I say that the auction raised a hefty £10,000 for the Orangutang Foundation? Well, it did. I wonder, did Terry write the Librarian as an orangutang because both are endangered species? Never thought to ask - he's proabably been asked that question hundreds of times, but then I've never been around to hear his response.

More pics later in the week.

More costume pics to follow. I've loads from the Maskerade parade and Reduced Discworld presentation, as well as some more from the other camera card of folk in costume throughout the weekend.

It always takes me by surprise that he's so little. I'm wearing flat shoes in that pic and I'm little. He was so sweet about modelling the hat whose photograph I was really after. T was very understanding - the hat has it's own claque and it's own minder.

Are you going to be able to get to the WorldCon at Boston this weekend? He's guest of honour. (Terry, not the hat, although I'm sure it will be in attendance too.)

actually I'm going to Vulkon in Oakland this weekend with a boatload of Sparklies.

Off to see another famous short guy. Hee.

And you expect me to believe that you're jealous of the photo of me with the Man in the Hat?

Did you notice me having a good lurk behind Terry and Stephen at the dinner?

MWNN is very jealous of the hat. He would love to have the kind of money that allows the purchase of such an one without feeling incredibly guilty about the cost.
