A long run to Genelard to join jennylye and their guest, Lindsey for Sunday lunch. Our picnic table and umbrella provided seating and shade for the meal which run on into evening aperitifs. I rustled up an entree, using pate and saucisson sec bought from the butcher/traiter in Blangy, and a desert of strawberries and cherries. Lindsey insisted strawberries needed cream, which neither boat had in stock, so I introduced him to strawberries with balsamic vinegar (he's impressed), and the others had chartreuse in place of cream.
